Mohawk’s three day Leather Care, Touch-Up, Repair & Refinishing Workshop will train you to use our new Professional Leather System - the most complete line of touch-up, repair and refinishing products for leather. Our workshop teaches cutting edge techniques for leather care, repairing and refinishing damaged leather. Designed for the novice and professional alike, the curriculum covers all aspects of leather touch-up, repair and refinishing.

Curriculum includes:

Leather identification: Understanding the different types of leather is essential to leather care, touch-up, repair and refinishing

Learning how to repair cuts, scrapes, scratches, scuffs, burns, holes, cracks and abrasions

Learning the proper techniques for:

Coloring - introduction to Touch-Up Pigment
Color mixing and application - wiping and spraying
Color theory using the Color Wheel

Learning different techniques of top coating, restoring and cleaning pigmented and aniline leather, using assorted maintenance and care products, ink removal and felt pen marks, sheen matching for leather and quick and professional leather refinishing

Learning how to use touch Up products, Leather/Vinyl Fil-Stiks and Markers

NOTE: Contact the hotel directly for hotel accommodations. Classes begin promptly at 8:00 am and end at 4:00 pm. Be sure to arrive early. Mohawk will provide morning and afternoon breaks. You are on your own for lunch.
